As a Digital Architect, you will oversee design, development, maintenance, and governance solutions for our strategic and vertical industry clients focusing primarily on, but not limited to, Adobe SiteCatalyst and Test&Target. Digital Architects are expected to be knowledgeable, highly skilled, and thought leaders in their space. You will align and balance client requirements, manage development constraints, and promote positive team interactions by ensuring compliance to the plan, collaborating on solutions, and assisting in the execution vision through the myriad of design changes and change management. Your primary goals will be to develop and deliver robust cross platform code frameworks, implementing best practices for web, data, and business intelligence capabilities, and ensuring governance compliance across peer development and deployment engagements by utilizing methodologies including Waterfall and Agile.

Most Digital Architects work remotely, engaging high visibility project lifecycles from one month to multiple years. You will report to the Practice Lead/Director of Architecture who oversees methodologies, technologies, strategies, and key collateral. This is a consultative role and must have the ability to interact directly with the client, understand the end goal of sound analytics and performance.

Digital Architects are classified as Junior, Mid, Senior, or Principle skill levels. Digital Architects can be Contract or FTE.


Potential candidates must demonstrate and maintain their ability to perform in the following:

Technical Responsibilities:
Web Programming (required): HTML, CSS, DOM
JavaScript Programming (required): JavaScript (inline, OO, framework), JQuery
Quality Assurance (required): Test cases, unit tests, debugging, data validation, and QA tools
Web Analytics (strongly preferred): SiteCatalyst, Google, Unica, Webtrends
Server Side Scripting (preferred): JSP, .NET, Coldfusion, PHP, ASP, VBScript, C#, C/C++, Flash, AJAX
Optimization: Test&Target
Mobile Development (optional): iOS, Android
Data Management (optional): Knowledge of RDMS, SQL, ETL, BI
Architecture Design (optional): API, Web Services, application architecture, application integration, application configuration

Engagement Responsibilities:
Client Management (required): Strong communication (written, verbal, presentation), issue escalation/resolution, SDLC
Work Ethic (required): Work independently, self-starter, strong communications, risk averse, client focused
Scoping (preferred): Gather business objectives, strong LOE capabilities (time, level of complexity, dependencies)

Education (preferred): Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, appropriate certifications

Travel (optional): Approximately 5% travel
