We are producing a digital magazine for distribution on Apple's iPad Newsstand with MagCast. It is called "The Forbidden Doctor". It is about all the knowledge and information about human physiology and the concepts of healing that that FDA and other agencies do not want the public to know. It is not just another magazine on alternative medicine. We need a consistent background image and banner that would appear on each edition with changes only in article titles and portraits of guest writers on the cover. It might be considered a logo. But it has to be eye catching and provocative. We were thinking of a picture with a doctor with duct tape over his mouth. Maybe Forbidden Doctor on the banner with Forbidden written over the duct tape. We are open to anything that makes the viewer stop and look....even bizarre or scary stuff like death...as in implied death. We are also liking the idea of an outline of a dead body in a crime scene with Forbidden Doctor written on the yellow police tape usually surrounding a crime scene. That may be too busy for a consistant cover banner, but may be used as a reoccurring logo for a monthly article inside the magazine. We will pay extra for this if it is created separately. Apple has a "beautification" board that the cover must pass. We appreciate Apple's clean artistic requirements and would like to follow that theme. But at the same time we want to push the envelope.
