EMAIL MARKETING SPECIALIST for Direct Response email campaigns

Position Overview:

- Execute client and prospect email programs that drive demand
- Build out HTML emails and landing pages that support email programs
- Know how to write effective marketing copy for all emails
- Collaborate with internal team members to gather inputs for and to build out all emails and landing pages Implement rigorous series of tests to constantly determine key drivers of program success and to build out a library of email best practices.
- Set up proper measurement on email programs and analyze results to provide insights for ongoing and future programs
- Work on lead hand-off process, ensuring smooth, timely follow-up of marketing generated leads
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead volume and quality goals, in accordance with overall revenue/bookings targets
- Know HTML and SMS messaging, such that emails are actionable and measurable across all channels and across social networks
- Jump in to help with other marketing projects and tasks as needed
- Work with strategic marketing services and relevance-enabling technology that supports your goals on project work

Required Qualities/Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a math-related field
- 2 years related full-time experience, preferably within a digital agency or client services environment
- Competitive nature and extremely strong desire to succeed
- Complete team player and self-motivated with strong work ethic
- A drive to complete projects on time and with extreme accuracy
- Highly analytical, with deep knowledge of InfusionSoft and Microsoft office or similar products
- High degree of accountability
- Self-starter who requires minimum supervision and can be fully responsible for all campaign production aspects of projects
- Rigorous attention to detail with the ability to produce flawless work in rapid succession
- Ability to prioritize work independently and demonstrate a willingness to be flexible and versatile in the production role and to proactively address changes in client demands
- Experience and comfort working with databases and project management software
- Proficient with list segmentation, campaign development, quality assurance, and post-campaign reporting
- Able to work with cross-functional teams (e.g. Creative Designers, Project Developers and Database Programmers).
- Understanding or have proficiency with HTML and Photoshop
- Ability to write and communicate clearly and effectively
- Interest in working for a B2B company in a fast-paced, deadline driven marketing environment
- Desire to develop a career in marketing
- Willing and able to adapt to (new/changing) software platforms that we integrate in our workflow or that clients have by default like Trello, GatherContent, Infusionsoft, etc.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

- Act as the client’s primary point of contact for campaigns. Professionally manage the client relationship on a production operations level
- Actively seek to foster the client relationship through effective communication and expectation setting
- Manage campaign calendar and both internal and external communications of time, scope, and cost
- Gather campaign assets and requirements from client, and manage campaign production through deployment
- Facilitate the creative production process (concept design and HTML building), as required
- Troubleshoot HTML and revise code where necessary to integrate with internal tools and render properly across multiple email clients, browsers, and mobile devices
- Utilize basic programming and database knowledge to create highly customizable campaigns
- Perform audience creation, data management, and data troubleshooting
- Strive for 100% quality execution with regard to pre-mail and post-mail campaigns through quality assurance and testing
- Monitor campaign performance tracking and reporting
- Train clients on campaign process, proprietary tools, and custom applications
- Manage and maintain campaign documentation
- Perform automated campaign monitoring and issue resolution management
