Fitness Brochure Illustrator
Closed - This job posting has been filled.
PLEASE Read the entire job posting description and follow the directions
completely. It is a waste of your time to just blast us with your information
without following the instructions...that is if you're truly interested in the job.
That may seem harsh, but when between 60% to 80% of the applications we see
have not even read the job posting and don’t follow instructions, it seems like maybe
we need to be a little bit direct about it.
For this gig, we need the illustrations for a fitness brochure that we are designing
to demonstrate some beginner fitness exercises.
The text is already written and
there are approximately 6 exercises, and each of those will need at least
2 and up to 5 images to demonstrate what the reader will need to do to perform
We will retain all ownership rights to the images for our use.
We will need approximately 20 black and white drawings. (They could be color,
but that's not necessary) We have pictures of the poses/positions we would
The catch is this: we'd like the illustrations to be of a bear doing the exercises. We
have the bear for our logo that we would like to use in the exercise poses.
The designs Need to be simple, dynamic, fun and engaging.
We're will retain all rights to the artwork for the project, and need the images
submitted in both jpg and psd and as vector images where appropriate. and
we will require as many revisions as it takes to get the job
Please submit a cover letter indicating your understanding of the requirements
and why you'd be a good fit for this gig. Also, please submit your version of the
bear (on the left in the attached document) to this posting doing exercise squats.
You will retain the rights to your sample image.
We get so many good applicants that don't follow
instructions - so if you actually do, you will have significantly better chance
than someone who doesn't.
I am spelling it out as plain as can be in writing, so if you are not going to
follow these instructions, please don't bother to apply. It is disappointing,
because in fact 60% or more of the applicants (some of them incredibly talented)
do not follow instructions.
Thanks - we look forward to seeing your sample and portfolio.
P.S. We have been scammed before with upfront payments, so unfortunately
we do not pay upfront before the job starts
