Job Description

Hey There,

This is a test job. I'm looking for someone I can form a long term relationship with, who's really good at putting out high quality code!

We're developing an ecommerce site. This was supposed to be done last week. So we'll need you to work with some speed, and do high quality work.

Our current developer is busy with other projects, so you'll need to ask him the questions you have, then finish up the project on your own.

You should be self directed, ask a lot of questions, and ask the right questions.

After you take charge and figure out what needs to be done you'll go off to work and move the project to completion.

Here are the skills you'd need to have if we're going to work together for a long time to come.

You need to be good with WordPress and that means:

- Comfortable with photoshop
- Slicing .PSD files into HTML5, CSS3, & Javascript
- Implementing the .PSD you sliced and coded in wordpress
- Quality checking your work, so nothing goes live while it's broken

- Proven experience with custom post types
- Proven experience with custom taxonomies
- Proven experience with custom queries.
- Familiar with PHP scripting for wordpress, and how to alter PHP script to change wordpress functionality

- Can implement jquery navigation, shopping carts, and other code stacks etc (ideal if you can write jquery)
- You're familiar with AJAX
- Ideally you're familiar with Thesis & Genesis Frameworks for WordPress
- Excellent English grammar and professional communication.

This would make you a perfect fit:

You use LESS/CSS - http://lesscss.org/
Twitter bootstrap - http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/
WP starter themes such as roots, and git

Most important is that you think for yourself, and you're a problem solver. If you need me to buy a script from Codecanyon.com so you can move faster implementing things, then you should let me know.

Also, you should be willing to go learn new things as we tackle problems together.

I'd rather work with a kick ass freelancer, than with a big agency.

I'd rather work with some one near my time zone. I'm in Californina, so anywhere in South America or North America is ideal.
