ID Design is producing a web application that allows a school to track and share incident reports related to student behavior.
When a new report is created, followup actions are required from a number of specific teachers and school administrators. These actions have deadlines and short descriptions attached to them.
Each teacher or administrator has a Google Calendar account. When a new action relates to a given teacher, the action should be inserted into their Google Calendar account, under a specific "student report actions" calendar.
The core web app is coded using ASP. We're looking for a coder with Google Calendar API experience to help create the Google Calendar login and actions. Experience with Google's OAuth system for app logins will be required, since OAuth will most likely be used to access the users' Google Calendar accounts.
The coding components that control authorization and addition of calendar items have been partially completed, but the previous contractor was unable to finish the work. The successful candidate will be working with the lead coder on the project to either complete/debug the existing code or rebuild the components related to Google Calendar.
Please indicate rates, very rough time estimate, and a summary of experience with Google Apps, Google Calendar API V3, and OAuth in responding to this posting.
Thanks and good luck!
