Our company needs a database of contact names and emails for the student clubs and organizations of the top 50 business and law schools in the United States. The rankings can be seen here:
Top 50 Business Schools: http://grad-schools.usnews.ranking
Top 50 Law Schools: http://grad-schools.usnews.ranking
The first part of the project is research. You must find links to the list or table of these graduate schools’ student-run organizations and clubs (see examples below). The next part is data extraction. Some of these pages will have tables of all clubs and contact info that you can copy/paste and format into an Excel document. Some pages you will have to copy/paste one-by-one. If an organization has more than one contact email, include it on a separate row.
The required Excel format can be seen in the attachment. There must be four columns:
Column 1 – School and university name
Column 2 – Organization or club name
Column 3 – Contact email address
Column 4 – First name of email recipient
If you cannot find a first name for the associated email address, leave that cell blank. All organization names should be punctuated, capitalized, and spelled correctly (as in attachment). The same goes for first names. Email addresses should be in the correct format.
We anticipate that the creation of this database will take approximately 40-50 hours.
