Help Mom & Pop Home Health Agencies Compete Against the 800lb Gorilla with clever Web Application
I'm looking to develop a web application that helps home health agencies collect important clinical documentation from clinicians in the field and physicians. Currently, many Home Health Agencies spend hours faxing, re-faxing, calling and physically sending representatives from the agency to get the paperwork signed. It's time consuming, inefficient and costing these small business owners thousands of dollars per month. Further, it's creating lag time in services being rendered to homebound patients. I'm looking to build a HIPAA secure platform where the HHA can upload paperwork and securely send these documents to a designated contacts that can be tracked, reviewed, digitally signed and sent back with the click of a button. Viewing these documents would be able to occur on mobile, tablet and desktop. I'm not a developer and would like to know how you would recommend building a HIPAA compliant application that would allow an agency to upload paperwork and send to a referring doctor via a secure portal as well as how long it would take to build? I'm open to any platform and am happy to give you more specific details on the project. Also, a rough cost on what it would take to get version 1.0 out to pre-sold customers?
