Job Description

I own www.howtonetwork.net which has been teaching Cisco certs for a few years now. I'm updating the site to www.howtonetwork.com.

I've got Cisco sorted and CompTIA but am looking to add Microsoft starting from foundation and growing from there.

Exam 98-349: Windows Operating System Fundamentals
Exam 98-365: Windows Server Administration Fundamentals
Exam 98-366: Networking Fundamentals
Exam 98-367: Security Fundamentals

I'm looking for a friendly and knowledgeable trainer who speaks native English to prepare training videos for a CBT course starting with exam 98-349 above. The videos will ideally be in 10-12 minute blocks of learning. My learning system will include a quiz at the end of each video which the student must pass before progressing.

I need the videos preparing in Camtasia for PC and they need to be a mix of whiteboard, PPT if you like and as much hands on examples of live equipment as possible as well as real world examples and applications.

I'd like closed caption added to the videos which you can do in Camtasia but if that is too much work then I can get it added.

For each video I'd also like some training notes with examples and diagrams which I can add as a handout or pre-read to the video.

I need to be clear on the following having spent around $150,000 on here and other freelancing sites. Please only bid if you can do the job and meet the agreed deadlines. Don't over promise and then tell me you have a family crisis, sick pet or other project to attend to. This has happened with seven so called professional trainers in a row now.

If you can deliver then I have a long list of courses which need completing.

I'd prefer it if you have passed the exam yourself so you can ensure the material is relevant. I'd also prefer it if you are an MCT. You must speak clear english so be from the UK, USA, Canada etc. My students are mainly USA and can't or won't try to understand accents.

So. Please submit your bid including a proposal on what the videos will be about, how many and how long it will take. I will want to see a sample of previous work showing you can make your presentations interesting and relevant without losing the attention of novice IT students.

Please submit a bid on the first exam only. I've set the limit to $5k for the beginner courses but the bigger modules I will pay more for.

Thanks

Paul Browning
