We currently run an medium sized ecommerce store which is hosted on Amazon's AWS (EC2) system. Around late tonight our server looks like it became under attack via some kind of malicious DDoS attack. Since the attack our server has been unable to establish a connection with MySQL thereby not allowing us to login or update the page accordingly.

The ecommerce store is running: Magento.

According to the logs, we are receiving the following errors:

From: PHPMyAdmin = #2002 Cannot log in to the MySQL server

From Magento = a:4:{i:0;s:109:"SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (111)";i:1;s:2949:"#0

>> This is considered a HIGH PRIORITY project, and this needs to be resolved ASAP. If you are confident in completing this task in an timely manner, please let us know.

Thank you,
