I am looking for someone to build a basic calculator which works out how much you would save if you used a certain type of guitar strings.
The calculator must ask the user two things:
QUESTION 1) How much do you spend on a pack of strings (in £GBP or $US based on IP location)
QUESTION 2) How often do you re-string your guitar (in weeks)
The calculator must show the price in their local currency (£ or $).
The first task for the calculator is to work out how much they would spend on strings per year. To do this we must use the following equation.
(52/ANSWER TO QUESTION 2) x ANSWER TO QUESTION 1 = how much they spend on guitar strings over a year. Let’s call this answer A
We then need to work out how much they’d save if they used BRANDX strings, which cost £2.50 in the UK or $4 in the US per pack.
So we’d need to work out:
(52/ ANSWER TO QUESTION 2) x £2.50 or $4 depending on location. Let’s call this answer B
After hitting a submit button, the calculator then needs to show:
"You currently spend £A on strings per year. With an endorsement deal from BRAND, you would only spend £B per year. That’s a saving of £(A-B)!
I've attached a basic screenshot showing how the calculator should look / operate.
