I have 22 short videos in a .mov format (approx 2 minutes each). I have been unhappy with the outcome of the following workflow: Convert the file formats using Adobe Media Encoder CS6 (file conversion specs attached). Then I dropped converted files into an album in iPhoto. Finally I used iTunes to sync the album to my iPad. Finally I use Photo app on the slideshow setting to display the videos in a continuous loop.
When I used CS6 Media Encoder to encode the videos, most ended up with a green line on the right of the video (original video size is 818X613 for most videos.) 4 of the videos were originally 1440X1080, and those converted without problems (no green line).
Unfortunately, none of the videos display at full screen on the ipad.
I need someone to come up with a solution and covert all these videos and prep them for viewing on my iPad for a convention. This needs to be done within 24 hours. Winning contractor can download the files from my dropbox and return the working solution to a subfolder in that dropbox folder.
I have some ideas of possible solutions, but there may be a different workflow that would be more appropriate.
1. Render the videos at a size that eliminates the green line and allows them to display full screen on the ipad.
2. Create one long video with all 22 shorts in one full-length feature that has been resized to fill screen and can be played with an app that can hopefully loop.
3. Use a different video play system that works better than iPhoto but still allows us to loop videos without stopping and starting each one.
Please include the phrase "fast turn-around" at the top of your bid.
All these videos are on YouTube, but I will not have wifi at the convention, so I need a solution that will host the videos and play them from the ipad.
I want a complete solution, and I don't have time to be involved in the testing to see if it is working. You will need to figure this out and deliver a working solution.
