Quicbooks Enterprise Edition - Enhanced Inventory receiving help


Job Description

We purchase items from overseas and import them. Quickbooks ONLY allows for you to receive goods until you can create a bill and pay for items.

I am wanting to PAY (sometimes partial payments) BEFORE we receive them. Currently we pay down payment up front to manufacture in China. Then we pay rest before they ship goods. Then we receive 2 months later after ocean shipment.

Does Enhanced Inventory Receiving allow this? I don't want to change not knowing the negatives or issues behind it as it seems you can't change back. I also want someone to help teach me this feature and how to do what I just explained above. Would prefer someone to help via teamviewer.

I do have Enterprise Edition and Advanced Inventory enabled.
