Company description: Focus Point Recruitment is owned by an independent freelance recruitment consultant with extensive knowledge of the global power generation, mining and technical recruitment sectors. It successfully recruits highly qualified candidates with niche skills and now offers candidate search services to other agencies.
Main duties and responsibilities:
You will be searching online databases for suitable candidates before they are checked and forwarded to our prestigious clients. You will need to read through the job descriptions paying special attention to the essential criterion and then match them to CVs found online. You will be given 3-5 job board log-ins and a number of vacancies to work on. On occasion you will be sent example CVs instead of job descriptions and you will be asked to find similar candidates.
You will be given access to the Focus Point Recruitment “back office” software and will be shown how to shortlist candidates. You will certainly have to email candidates and dependant on your experience and charges you may also be asked to put questions to candidates verbally.
Other administrative tasks such as job posting and researching prospective clients could be part of your daily routine.
The ability to use Boolean search (training will be given if required)
Knowledge of how to use job boards
You must be PC literate confident with using the Internet and emailing.
A good telephone manner is required.
You must have a computer and Internet connection.
You must be able and prepared to spend time on the Internet.
Internet search/research experience maybe as talent acquisition or recruitment consultant-perhaps you prefer searching for candidates rather than chasing clients?
Data mining expertise.
Previous recruitment experience.
Boolean search knowledge, although training will be given
A keen eye for detail
Responsible for: Finding candidates well-matched to the job descriptions you will be given.
Number of days per week: To be advised depending on workload
