Job Description

Research: International Garment buyers

I need a list of international garment buyers, those who would likely hire an inspection firm for social audits, QC, general factory audits, pre-production inspections, etc..

I need name of buyer or company name, address, and email , origin country(ex. Gap = usa) and line of clothing if available. __ Obtain Direct Email addresses , not info@domain.com

I am interested in this info for Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Egypt, and Jordan.

A lot of companies use factories in several countries so I would expect overlap.

There are many ways to find this info. For example, Clean Clothes (http://www.cleanclothes.org/) are trying to improve the working conditions of garment factory workers -- as more people should be. They also have social FB, Twitter profiles. There are others like this. What I need is a resourceful person to dig around, perhaps look through export data where sometimes the buyers are listed with address, etc.

It would be good to have one or more people in the garments industry work on this. IF you have experience in the garments/textiles industry please indicate this in the application.

To give an example, would want the buyers’ info for companies such as the ones listed below. There are many others but this is the type of list. Some have buyers who are contracted, do not work expressly for the company. Some companies do the buying in-house. Some countries have national garment association websites and some have buyers’info there.
