Job Description

The objective of the SQL & Crystal Reports Developer is to conceptualize, design, develop, and test SQL queries, stored procedures and other programs as needed by our clients within various clinical environments. In this role you work closely with our clients to design and develop SQL-based reporting solutions in both Crystal Reports and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.

Responsibilities

• Understanding relational database design as it pertains to our clients’ differing clinical environments
• Writing optimized SQL queries, triggers and stored procedures to solve client data processing issues
• Design and develop SQL-based reports using applications like Crystal Reports and/or SQL reporting services
• Assist our clients by understanding their data reporting needs as they are related to their varying clinical workflows
• Researching and decode older custom SQL data models and custom reports
• Review and understand project requirements and specification
• Developing scope-of-work documentation in order to satisfy our client needs
• Demonstrate good programming and design skills
• Provide technical documentation on new designs and enhancements

Skills Required

• At least one year experience developing reports in Crystal Reports
• At least one year experience working within SQL Management Studio
• Proven Experience developing SQL queries and procedures
• Strong analytical problem solving skills
• The ability to learn how to create programs with new technology while completing projects on-time and within the written project scope
• The ability to work constructively with a wide variety of projects and changing business priorities and timelines
• High level of initiative, self-direction, and accountability for actions required
• A positive attitude
• Works well in teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and function as an integral part of the team

Skills Not Required But a Big Plus

• Experience with NextGen EHR KBM 8.x
• Experience manipulating NextGen templates and Documents
• HL7 file setup and manipulation
• Lab Interface development
• Microsoft SSRS Reports Development
• Experience doing work as a DBA
• Experience performing any IT duties in a clinical environment

NON-NEGOTIABLE ITEMS

- Must be available up to 20 hours per week (based on the job requirements)
- Must speak english at a rating of 5
- Must have Skype Connectivity
- Must be available 8am-5pm MST US
