Topic #1: Will it be harder to get approved for Disability in 5 years?
- Conduct a little research to see how disability approval (or denial rates) at the initial and hearing stages and hearing wait times have changed in the last 10 years. Take into account the economic climate and the amount of applications.
- Use the past data, to make a prediction or give an opinion on where you think the approval rates and wait times will be in 5 years.

Topic #2: Is the number of SSD Applications correlated with Unemployment Rate?
- Take a look at how the change in unemployment rate over the last 20-30 years has affected the change in number of disability applications?
- Key Question to be answered: Will the number of disability applications go down if the economy improves?
