Job Description

We are seeking a Sales Executive with direct work experience in online events and online campaigns. If you've sold services at an investor/public relations firm, or in general within the financial services industry, that is a big plus! This sales position will contribute to the growth of our social network for financial professionals. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain senior executive level relationships with prospects, new and existing clients and partners
- Highly effective in navigating all facets of the sales process: from prospecting to discovering to pitching to negotiating to forming proposals to closing
- Cultivate individual selling strategies designed to exceed daily, monthly and quarterly revenue goals (new business, renewals and up-sells)
- Administer presentations that portray the platforms functionalists and features
- Create marketing material to assist sales cycle
- Overlook client relationships from the early stages of the sales process to post-sales administration
- Pitch and close ad-placements on showcase pages and other areas within the platform
- Research and identify sponsorship prospects
- Identify opportunities for channel-sales

Desired Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years' experience selling online events to senior decision makers
- (!) Connections with investors, publicly traded companies (micro, nano, small-cap), and/or investor relations firms is a big plus
- (!) Knowledge of and/or experience working in advertising/sponsorship sales is a big plus
- Goal-orientated and focused on hitting targets
- Strong negotiating skills
- Comfort with cold-calling is a must
- Constructed social media campaigns
- Technologically savvy
- Motivated and ambitious
- Bachelor's degree is required
