Job Description

I need a Shopify EXPERT to help me add a small function to my Shopify website. Please read this job carefully and ONLY apply if you can complete this function EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We need to notify our customers and ourselves when we sell an item that is out of stock. Shopify allows you to sell items that are out of stock, but it does not notify you or the customer that the items sold are out of stock. So here is what we need:

1. On the product page - When customers selects a size that is out of stock, we need a small red text to appear above the "Add to Cart" button that notifies customers that the item is currently being restocked and will take an extra 3-4 weeks to ship. You can see exactly how to do this here:

2. On the cart page - We need the same message to appear next to the sold out item on the cart page. So if a customer buys 3 items and 1 item is out of stock, the message should only appear next to the 1 item that is out of stock on the cart page.

3. Shop Owner & Customer Notification emails - It should state clearly on all all notification emails which item sold is out of stock, so both the shop owner and the customer are aware which items are out of stock and will take additional time to ship.
