Simple CSS overflow/z-index issue

Job Description

We have a simple CSS question involving the overflow and z-index settings of several elements. Basically, we have a button that displays a jquery drop down menu when you hover on it. However, when the button is displayed inside a DIV with a fixed height (and overflow:auto), the drop down menu is cut off by the parent DIV. We have tried adjusting the z-index and position settings of each element, but just can't seem to figure it out. You can view the issue and source code at:

Obviously this is a very small project. However, we are working on a much larger project and expect to need similar help from time to time. So we are wanting to find a reliable person we can go to when things come up.
