Job Description

This position is for a Social Media Manager for a busy wedding blog. Please read thoroughly before applying.

We're looking for someone well-versed in using Facebook and Twitter who can market the blog and its content in a professional, yet fun manner.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
*Create and implement a social media strategy tailored to the blog
*Manage day to day activities such as content distribution, brand advocacy and reader engagement.
*Generate data reports
*Be able to work both supervised and unsupervised.
*Liaise with blog editor as necessary
*Keep the content relevant and up to date with an emphasis on reader demands
*Research into new trends and create appropriate strategies.
*Keep up to date with new social media tools, applications and ideas.
*Keep on top of wedding trends and wedding related news to create relevant and interesting posts.
*Converse with readers/viewers and respond to any comments
*Develop/maintain social media relationships with other wedding bloggers.
*Be aware of blog content and direction to form posts and create focus.


REQUIREMENTS:
*Must have experience in managing social networking sites
*Must have an interest/experience in Wedding industry
*Must be able to provide examples of recent work.
*Native English speaker is a must
*Must be able to provide an email address and Skype address for correspondence
*Ability to work within UK office hours 9am - 6pm preferable
*Must be able to commit to one/two hours a day Mon - Fri.
*Experience using buffer is an advantage but not a must.
