Job Description

We are seeking a Full-Time/Direct Associate to join our MIS Dept here at Glidewell Laboratories as a Lead Software Engineer

Glidewell Laboratories, the world's largest dental laboratory (leading in dental technology and dental manufacturing), is seeking for a Senior Software C# .NET Engineer.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
o Works with the Project lead on software development assignments
o Designs, modifies, develops and supports software applications
o Ensures consistency, accuracy and compliance with required standard
o Provides technical support and consultation to staff and customers
o Troubleshoots, tests, and analyzes complex issues and problems and determines solution
o Researches new technology and trends
o Contacts vendors to research products and resolve technical problems
Requirements:
o A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline.
o Significant professional employment that demonstrates progressive responsibility in information systems.
o Proven track record in developing and implementing applications
o Experience in complex analysis and design
o Strong people skills with customer-centric focus

Technical Skills:
o 5 to 10 years of progressive MS technology expertise
o Minimum of 5 years experience utilizing C#
o At least 2 years of WPF programming experience and developing WCF based applications
o At least 4 years of SQL Server experience writing queries, stored procedures, user-defined functions (UDFs) and developing schema (tables, views, etc)
o At least 6 years experience developing NT and/or web services
o At least 6 years developing UI applications
o Strong knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA)
o Deep understanding of the .NET technical architecture as well as integration technologies to ensure all future enhancements or integration solutions are well planned and architected.
o Experience with software development methodologies and standards
o Experience using XSLT, source control, team foundation server
o Demonstrated ability to diagnose/resolve technical problems independently and to lead development and implementation of new and complex applications
o Ability to work in fast-paced, production environment and to provide off-hours support.
o Able to technically support all areas of responsibility
o Knowledge and experience with MSMQ a plus
o Experience with SSRS a plus
