We are looking to transition our hardcopy photo portfolio to a tablet based version. Ipad, most likely.
We are a custom closet and cabinetry company. Learn about us at www.spacemanager.com. We recently won "Best Places to Work" awarded by Houston Business Journal. We are nice folks who take care of our staff and do our best to serve our customers well.
Our designers now use a hard-copy binder with over 100 photos in 8 categories. It's a MS Publisher file right now. There binder has tabs on the side, like binders often have, which make it very easy to navigate from section to section. We often leave the client to browse the photo portfolio while we measure their space. So it's very important that the final product is very easy to navigate with absolutely zero learning curve. Many of our clients are older empty nesters, so the final product needs to be very easy to use.
i envision a group of photos that are separated by category, with each category listed at the top or down one side. photos can be viewed as large thumbnails or individually. I'm not sure a software package exists to do this. I defer to your expertise.
