I currently have a website with weebly.com and I have just found out that the website that I have been using for over a year has not been backed up and there is no way to backup the website. I am able to download all the website files as a zip archive file. It appears that the zip file contains the templates and some graphics and other design elements. I am not sure if the archive contains all website content. Ideally, I would like a simple way to backup the entire website but I am open to other options.
Another soloution would be to transfer the entire website and existing content onto WordPress and use VaultPress or some other form of backup. This option would mean transfering 1-2 years of blog posts, pictures, and video. As you can imagine, this is a very labor intensive process. I am not aware of a simpler way to do this but if you are please let me know. Of course, if I were to choose this option we might as well do a complete redesign of the entire website.
Let me know your experience, thoughts, and solutions on how I may solve this problem. Please be familiar with Weebly and WordPress as well as any backup options. Please let me know what you would charge to complete this task.
