Looking For A Programmer To Prototype Our Social Media Concept (Downtown)
Job Description

We are looking for developer expert for our start-up concept from scratch for an online community for art, antiques, collectibles and social networking. Think Facebook meets Pinterest. We are not looking for an ecommerce/marketing site. We need the following functionality implemented:

1. User registration, signin & account creation
2. Requires secure ID
3. Upload and storage of a portfolio of images according to a potentially eBay-like category heirarchy, including the ability to select for social viewing
4. Ability to sort and progressively drill down to detailed item categories.
5. Guestbook registry signing feature
6. Ability to organically rank submissions based on user responses in guestbook.
7. Ability to flag incorrectly categorized items
8. Users will need to be able to customize profile pages
9. Ability to remove pictures from galleries that are offensive
10. Link with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, RSS accounts, Pinterest
11. Database sorting of most popular items, most searched items, most viewed items, etc.
12. Not having eCommerce is by design in initial phases
13. Magnify images on mouse over (possible)
14. Possible google or yahoo mapping function (possible)
15. Prevention of photo hijacking (possible)

Contractor requirements:

We're looking for a long-term contractor to develop and maintain this website. The ideal developer has:

1. Successfully developed photo sharing, social media applications. Skilled with C++, HTML, Java, .js, Javascript, SQL, PHP, API's Google, Twitter, AJAX.
2. Strong experience in website development and engineering. Not looking for outsourcing agency.
3. Has great organizational and time-management skills to get work done on schedule
