Job Description

I designed a website with the commercial website design company, Wix. Wix has an option to input your own HTML code into a page on the site. I did that on the following page: http://www.skywardlsat.com/#!about1/c722, Password: Kara.

There's just one feature on this page (the checkboxes with buttons underneath) which was coded in JavaScript. If someone makes changes to this feature and doesn't refresh or exit their browser, they can't "Un-do" those changes. For example, if someone clicks the "Next" button below videos 1-3, they will be able to view videos 4-6, but they can not go back and view videos 1-3.

However, if someone clicks "Next" to view videos 4-6, and then exits their browser, or pulls up the site from another computer, then, the next time they pull up the page, they see videos 1-3, not videos 4-6. What I want is for the changes made by one computer to change what every other computer sees. So, if one person clicks "next" to view videos 4-6, no one else accessing the webpage can ever view videos 1-3.

Is it possible to use databases to do this? If someone can successfully set up a link between this JavaScript feature on my website and a database, I'll give them $100.

I attached the JavaScript code to this post in case that's relevant. Thanks,

J.P.
