Male American Voice

Job Description

I need a Mature Middle-Aged Male American voice-over for a video tutorial.

The voice must not sound commercial, but conversational as if you are giving someone one-to-one advice, someone you can trust, but also someone who is an expert in what he does. Imagine sitting across a table from someone and giving that person advice. Let me re-emphasize, it must not sound commercial, nor grandfatherly but as if you are giving someone advice to a friend across the table.

Some sections of the video are meant to be humorous so you should be able to make the humorous parts understandable, not by hyperbole or by being over the top, but by being sarcastic (ideal places to do so are indicated in the script).

The tutorials are typically ~10-15 minutes in length depending upon how fast/slow you read the script.

Please bid for recording 1 voice over for one video tutorial. If we do more we could create some bundled deal. Thanks.

// If you could please read the following few lines and send me an .mp3 it would help me better to assess if you could record this tutorial.

Sometimes ad agencies will also outsource this task to independent music supervisors. Not all music supervisors work on ads, as some focus just on film, TV or video games, while others may do a mixture besides playing the bongos at night.

Again, here are some specific actions you could take:
1. Get in contact with music supervisors and ask them if they also work on ads. If so, make sure to get on any project requests for these to suggest your songs. If they don’t do ads, tell them to get their act together. That’s a joke, be nice to them.
