This position is for a mobile tech company who's target audience is music makers (bands, dj's, solo artists, cover bands . . .). All work will center around the American music market. I'm interested in other markets, but the focus for now is the American music industry.
Looking for an assistant with personality who knows about:
Social Media and Business Development/Marketing:
Write or find and post interesting, relevant content for my social media networks (instagram, facebook fan page, twitter, pinterest, linked in)
Building my audience and interaction for those 5 platforms
Marketing experience with a results driven marketing strategy for promoting our products
Write press releases for our products and submit them to the appropriate outlets
Write a monthly newsletter
Grow our email list for the newsletter
Someone who's able to create a buzz and hype for the company
Someone who loves live music
Witty, funny, attention grabbing style of writing
Great at research
Someone who understands the startup life and community
Able to handle any other tasks that can be completed through the internet such as online ordering, posting for jobs that become available and so forth.
Some additional qualities that would be great would be graphic design for something like a flyer and possibly web design.

I'll be making my decision on Sunday 2.3.13 and will offer on a trial basis the position. The trial period will be for 3 weeks to see how well we communicate, and if you're able to deliver the performance I'm looking for. Once you're notified, you'll begin on Tuesday 2.5.13.
