We require a software tool (filter driver) to protect our application registry entries from unwanted changes by unauthorized users and hackers etc. The software will read in a list of Windows Registry entries from a file and blocks access to these entries.
The filter driver may include additional features - to discuss viability.
We need an experienced developer to help develop a Windows kernel mode legacy filter driver - to support Windows 2000 server.
This will be the first sub-project of a larger project - most of the work required coding Windows legacy kernel modules and filter drivers, i.e. require IRP handling skill.
If you are interested in the job, please state your experience in your other related projects, and suggest your approach, e.g. RegistryCallback routine. You will find this is more than a coding job; you will be in a team, it requires your head and some security research.
