Storyboard/script required for engineering software concept
Closed - This job posting has been filled and work has been completed.
Prepare a storyboard and script that illustrates the main sequences of a video to present our new engineering software concept. This storyboard/script will then be passed on to a video production agency to develop into a video animation.
The new engineering software is to be used in the subsea oil & gas industry to design subsea pipelines and so will need to have a very technical and professional feel.
- The software is currently only in concept study, so although we will provide guidance on the sequence of what we want to display - we do not have any graphics assets to supply, therefore it will be up to the designer to find/create all the required imagery (which will be technical in nature, and related to the offshore oil & gas industry)
- For reference, some existing software packages that may perform similar tasks to our concept software include: AutoPIPE, Caesar II, Orcaflex, Flexcom, Abaqus, Ansys. If illustrations or imagery from any existing software packages are used, they will need to be modified to ensure we do not violate any copyrights.
- The video to be generated will be approximately 3 to 4 minutes in duration, therefore the storyboard is expected to provide sufficient detail to illustrate every key sequence in the video
- The storyboard will be expected to show a clear flow from one sequence to the next and should be presented in a professional and consistent layout
