Looking for a dependable programmer/integrator to help us build device drivers for our products to communicate with home/commercial control automation systems. We will provide hardware(Linux based) and SDK for our products which are typically written in C, C++, and would need to develop a two-way IP/serial device driver. This driver will then communicate with proxy driver of popular control systems like Control4, Elan, Crestron, etc.
First step of this process is to create a protocol that will allow basic control of DVR through ASCII/Hex commands and IP control commands. This protocol can be used to create drivers/plugins for home/commercial control automation systems.
Second step would be to convert a H.264 video stream from DVR to MJPEG that the home/commercial control automation systems can display on GUI devices like touch screens or monitors.
We are continuing to grow our business with IP products and in need of software and driver development.
Please contact us at ZuumMedia if you have any further question.
