Islamic Design House aspires to create an online store that houses a range of quality, innovative products that cater for Muslims across the globe. We aim to accomplish this by collaborating with young, creative and inspired individuals and companies to bring our customers the very best. We are delighted to have begun our project by working with some of the most creative and innovative companies within our domain. Islamic Design House yearns for this list to expand over the coming years and therefore are currently in discussion with other pioneering companies.


You will...

• Take creative briefs from marketing with input from the lead designer. Help reinforce the company Tone of Voice (TOV). Input bright ideas and work closely with relevant parties in formulating exciting concepts and copy.
•Write copy for digital content: Website banners, Product description text, Email newsletters and social media.
This role may also extend to having input on in-store promotions, external material including ads and material for companies global markets.
•Manage projects as required by the Head of Marketing
•Prepare and present work for internal creative reviews
•Work closely with designers to discern the main message of each product and relay this to our customers.

Key skills/Experience:

•Excellent creative skills – concepts, headlines, name generation and information/functional copy
•Excellent grammar, copy-editing and proofreading skills
Clear, concise and creative.
Excellent language skills to capture imaginations and persuade customers to take action
Ability to grasp the main message of the company and develop and portray this message to customers in a unique way that reflects the company.
•Ability to write within the tone of voice of the company
•Competent IT skills (Microsoft office)
•Conversant with the retail sector
•Understanding the elements of the retail marketing mix – brand tone of voice, advertising, online retail, sales promotion, email marketing.
-A background in writing will be preferable.
