Job Description

Hello-

I need some help installing the Ubiquiti Unifi controller on 2 linux debian computers and helping me get easy remote access to those computers.

Here are the instructions, I need you to tell me on the phone how to give you remote access, then you will log in and install:

Debian (Squeeze)

Add the ubiquiti depository

echo "deb http://www.ubnt.com/downloads/unifi/distros/deb/squeeze squeeze ubiquiti" >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/20ubiquiti.list
apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv C0A52C50

Add mongoDB depository

echo "deb http://downloads-distro.mongodb.org/repo/ubuntu-upstart dist 10gen" >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/21mongodb.list
apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv 7F0CEB10

Update and Install with apt-get

apt-get update
apt-get install unifi

Go to the controllers web interface on port 8443 and follow simple setup.

https://<ip>:8443

The unifi website is here:
http://wiki.ubnt.com/UniFi

Also would like to test the network to see if it is running optimally.

Thanks,

Kevin
