Microsoft VB.NET VisualWebGui Application Expert Wanted
Closed - This job posting has been filled and work has been completed.
I am in the process of redefining the requirements for this app now that it has changed drastically, so I must re-post this opportunity.
I am looking for an expert in VB.NET that understands COM and legacy DLLs, but the app will be primarily written in VB.NET with help from the Gizmox VisualWebGui framework (using that to web enable the desktop application). So, it is important that the candidate download VisualWebGui and create a sample application before applying for this position, to ensure you will be passionate about programming this type of solution. Next, I need someone that understands how to work with Microsoft SQL server and is capable of doing excellent T-SQL and Inner Joins and stored procs. You will need to understand how to make a winforms application, and loop through objects and read/write the values into arrays and create structs and business objects. Understanding proper OO and using business objects and structs is necessary.
The first portion of the project is I want to create a Generic Data System Warehouse, and we will need a User Add/Edit/View page for new users, an organization Add/Edit/View page for editing the organization. The next step will be a table maintenance GUI, a column maintenance GUI, a dictionary editor and then a role based security editor.
In the mean time, I will program the Web Customizer, the add/edit/view pages for 1d and 2d objects. Then we will collaborate to add services that allow us to e-mail attachments in and create note threads, etc.
You must be able to speak excellent English in order to not only collaborate but create the proper verbage in the dialogs as it will all start out as an English version until there is some future revenue.
It is also helpful if you will be able to think in generic abstract terms.
I will create a Windows SQL Server to host the database server and an application server to host the IIS VisualWebGui application. In the mean time, you can download an evaluation version of VisualWebGui from their web site and create a sample app and run it on your local machine unless you are already familiar.
Thanks in advance!
