The application we are developing runs mainly "edge detection algorithm" (Using Matlab computer Vision Toolbox) in real time over 2 IP cameras, 30 fps per each camera. The Hardware we are using as development platform is the The XUPV505-LX110T which features the Virtex-5 XC5VLX110T device.
Our idea is to use HDL coder of Matlab for generating the HDL code for the Hardware. We are using Xilinx ISE 14.1. On this we would like recommendations in how to make the process more smoothly and what it should be the steps to follow.
