Job Description

Website architect(s) and website designer(s) needed for a business project that has a full-time, tight time schedule over the course of 2013 beginning ASAP. The project - the exact details of which will only be revealed to chosen candidates (in conjunction with a signed confidentiality agreement) - has high expectations of it's code builders. Programmers / architects will need to demonstrate experience of intricately linking the functionality of one (main) website with the functionality of another (unrelated and remote) website WITHOUT having access to the remote website's code. The functionality we will be developing is e-commerce in nature. If you have experience in "piggy-back" code work (for websites dependent on others) or if you have a wide range of knowledge about e-commerce and linked functionality of websites we would love to hear from you together with your availability and your up to date project-work portfolio.

Skills necessary:

a. you need to have experience with ecommerce and third world mobile phone payment schemes and how to properly code that into a platform.

b. experience using APIs to develop third party ecommerce portals.

c. experience linking multiple ecommerce sites into a centralized shopping platform.

d. ability to think forward and foresee potential pitfalls post development such as automatic updates to third party websites that may render our site nonfunctional and an ability to figure out workarounds to such issues.

The project affords creative flexibility in design and functionality as long as it meets the agreed upon objectives.

Hourly rate or completed project fee are negotiable based on experience, interest level in the project, and ability to effectively think "outside of the box".
