Transcription of Dictated Audio Notes and of Lectures/Presentations
I am a Phd candidate in Kinesiology and Exercise Science in the USA. I also own an online fitness and training brand and will likely have jobs on that front as well.
I am in need of someone who can effectively and efficiently create a transcript from audio files. These files would include: dictated notes, lectures, seminars and presentations. ALL audio files will be in English and will be transcribed into English. I would like to setup all work through the program Evernote (free), if possible; otherwise, MS word will be used.
Due to the fact that English is spoken with a different sentence structure than written English, I may request that some transcripts be restructured and cleaned up for grammar. Dictated notes are often choppy and without rhythm.
I am looking for someone whose style of transcription is a good fit for my speaking and can accurately replicate speeches from lectures that I attend.
I am looking for efficient work of high quality, and I am willing to reward a quick turnaround on a job if the quality of the work is acceptable. I value the work that you can bring to my research and my business.
Duties will include:
- Transcription from English audio to English written
- Summary writing from lectures/presentations
- Editing, proofreading and grammar
- MUST possess high level English listening and writing skill.
- MUST possess high proficiency in spelling and grammar
- Can interpret scientific terms from audio
- MS Word
- Evernote (optional)
Skills: research, english, grammar
