You will be part of a 24/7 support team. This position is for the shift:
1 am – 8 am GMT +6
The support team works only in English.
You will work 8 hour shifts with possible additional hours
We will require you work exclusively for us during your shift.
Your English must be exceptional as you will often be talking/writing to clients in North America.
Knowledge of the following topics is required:
- Basic troubleshooting
- Assess problem and generate the Estimated Time to Fix.
- Missing cameras
- Issues that are fixable remotely
- General Windows troubleshooting (software and hardware)
- Management of Windows systems (Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008 R2)
- IP networking setup and maintenance including knowledge of port forwarding, static IPs, network diagnostics, traceroute
Knowledge of the Milestone Video Management System is an asset including:
- licensing issues: unactivated DLKs, installing SLCs
- adding IP cameras
- setting up alerts (on motion or event)
- setting up guard tours
