I would like a plugin created for WHMCS. It will take a XML files in a directory and using the WHMCS API open tickets sending information from the XML file to customers. The XML file will contain product usernames. Using the "Get Clients Products" API call you need to use the username to get the client ID.
Then use the "Open Ticket" API call to open a ticket.
The message for the ticket should be a template with variables for where to insert the info from the xml file.
And the last thing is the ticket status should be changed using the update ticket API call.
The system needs to keep track of how many tickets have been opened about a particular part of the XML so the notices sent can change depending on the number sent. Example we send a notice about /home/user/directory. The first message will be message template 1. Then the next time the script runs if have to send the same notice to the same user about the same /home/user/directory then they get message template #2 etc.
I'd like to start with this I don't think it's be all that complicated. If we're working well together and I have the time we may then build this into a full WHMCS module with all config done in the admin area and possibly adding client area notices.
To consider you for this project I need examples of similar projects completed. Projects completed using the WHMCS heavily favored. I feel like this is a fairly straight forward project and I've provided links to the exact API calls needed. I can provide an example of the XML file if needed.
