Travel Tips - 600 words per week
Closed - This job posting has been filled and work has been completed.
Hi, for a travel web site, I am looking for someone to write a 600 word article every week.
The content of this article should be around: "tips for traveling", and can include tips on how to pack your suitcase in a smart way, certain precautions you should take when traveling to certain destinations (i.e. Malaria in parts of Africa, visa requirements, etc.), or simply some recommendations when traveling either in a couple or with a family.
We would prefer somebody who has previous experience in the travel and hotel industry and give tips and tricks in an engaging, entertaining format.
These can also be practical tips for specific destinations, such as where to stay in New York City and have a great connection to downtown, while saving a lot of money compared to staying at Times Square.
Our site is mainly a hotel price comparison site, so we appreciate hotel-related content in some way. There will be the possibility to link to cities, certain districts or even a single hotel.
We expect the content to be written in American English, perfectly free of spelling and grammar errors and relevant to a predominantly American audience. Needless to say content needs to be unique and not spun through some software.
I would assume that a good 600 word article with some research takes around 3 hours of work to produce. I am willing to do a pay by the hour contract, however, I do assume the same cost per article every week. Please don't bid if that is not acceptable to you.
Also please note that this task is not just a keyword-stuffing exercise, we rather want to create relevant content to leisure and business travelers that bring them to our web site and engages them.
We furthermore want them to engage with our site by commenting on your article, so being a little provocative in a way can be engaging.
Before assigning this task, we would like some example text that you have written for the tourism or hotel industry.
Thanks for your interest, we look forward to receiving your bids!
