Job Description

Goal: To gain 1,000 visitors by focusing time and energy into building our Twitter, Facebook profile, pinterest, youtube and other social media sites. And to continue to grow and promote product.

--Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, Vimeo, YouTube
--Facebook: Customizing Fan Page, Ads, Analytics, Integrating Email Opt-In Forms, Video, Sweepstakes and Special Offers.
--Twitter: Customizing Page, Encouraging Fan Interaction, Targeting Specific Markets
--Pinterest:Growing followers, creating boards, following target market, links, pins/re-pins

Tasks to do include but not limited to the following:

Schedule Facebook and Twitter posts for the whole week or even monthly using Hootsuite

Perform keyword searches on Twitter for keywords related our product. Also start following 100 to 200 of those people each day.

Tweeting about topics related to industry

Tweeting at people in your industry and retweeting some of their tweets.

Friend thought leaders in your industry

Engaging with audience by posting stuff on my wall. The stuff shouldn't be about my company, but more so about industry news and events related to my products sector.

Commenting on my friends' wall and like messages that you like within your feed.

Add a “pin it” button to my site so people will share our products on Pinterest

Pin an image you’ve created, and edit the pin so that it links to a landing page for our product or newsletter.

Pin videos our team produced and post to YouTube, Vimeo, such as instructional videos about how to use your products.

Each time you pin something, add a call to action by inserting text in the image or write a call to action in the pin’s caption, and add a link to our site.

Add keywords to the captions of your pins, and type the symbol “#” before each keyword.

Add prices to product pins so people will understand they’re for sale

Pin before-and-after pictures to show how our business helps people

Create contests to get more re-pins

Track pins and re-pins so you’ll see what content people prefer
