Job Description

The Network Security personnel is expected to be a Level-3 contact and responsible for planning , design and implementation of complex large projects and maintain the confidentiality and integrity of our customer’s critical infrastructure whilst providing industry leading Support to both the customers and other segments internal business units.


• Leadership skills , able to manage/lead a team of administrators

• Serve as escalation point to Help desk representatives as L2/L3 support
• Advanced configuration, troubleshooting and consultation on:
- DNS (A records, CNAMES, MX records, Authority Section, TTL values.)
- Cisco firewall (ASA/PIX), Sonicwall firewall
- Cisco IDS/IPS
- IP routing and switching
- SNMP and monitoring platforms

- Deploy and tune application Firewalls, Cisco/Sonicwall and Alert Logic IDS/IPS sensors
• Advanced level understanding of routing and router configurations (OSPF, EIRGP, RIP)
• Consult with Sales Admins and Customer’s providing thought leadership regarding best practice and standards
• Consult, approve and implement all non-standard configurations
• Responsible for all network security product related research and development
• Responsible for training other Admins on all new products and procedures
• High level consultancy
• Incident fact finding and resolution development
• Process and procedure standardization
• Maintaining documents and owning large and complex accounts.
• Build relationships with colleagues and customers via the ticket system, telephone and face-to-face

• Strong, hands-on technical knowledge of networking and security in general.
• Must have comprehensive and hands-on experience of most of the technology we support.
• Strong communications and presentation skills.
• Serve as escalation point for Level 1 and 2 Admins
• Troubleshoot VPN client and site-to-site VPN connections
• Troubleshoot firewall configurations (PIX, ASA)
• Responsible for performing final QC on all network devices.
• High-level knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP.
• Expert level understanding of IOS, VLAN, STP, routing and Cisco/sonicwall switches.
• Troubleshoot of networking devices and network related issues.
• Committed problem solver if required

• CCSP/CCNP or equivalent experience.
