Job Description

I am looking for an experience WordPress consultant to join my team to help provide technical support to my clients from wpdude.com

VERY IMPORTANT - I'M LOOKING FOR SOMEONE IN A LOCAL TIMEZONE TO ME, EUROPEAN APPLICANTS ONLY

We get a wide variety of wordpress technical support projects from a few hours up to a couple of days in length.

The types of projects we handle are

# Performance tuning
# Hack Recovery
# Migration between hosting
# Custom theme changes
# Installations and Builds
# WordPress Multilingual
# WordPress Multisite
#.. the list goes on

We are looking for someone with in-depth experience of WordPress, this is not a blogging job this is high end technical support and problem solving. You need to understand the database, API, how to code up themes.

Although the company is based in the UK the majority of my clients are from the US. The ability to work to our clients time zone(s) is preferred.

Ownership of a project from assignment through service delivery and client quality control /feedback is essential.

I use basecamp for my project management needs, an understanding of this tool would be useful.

I get lots of applications that do not read the complete spec, this takes me lots of time to weed through unqualified candidates, so please type BROWN M&Ms at the top of your application. We will be reviewing candidates then offering them a trial project to see how we work together, then more work will be offered to the successful candidate.
