Resource will be required to update project tasks, design, code, test and document. Resource must have expert level MS Access, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), SQL Server and SQL (including triggers, functions, stored procedures) development skills. Minimum of five years development experience in each of the above technologies required.
With general guidance and coaching, provides analytical support to a specific group of customers on business applications, infrastructure and technology related activities. Acts as a project team member, specifically on requirements definition and testing activities. Provides guidance, assistance, coordination and follow up on complex problems and ensures resolution. Assists customers on their migration to new or revised products, applications and platforms. Works with application developers and operations personnel to support production applications and customer specific operations. Significant creativity is required.
To accomplish this mission, as stated, we will:
Develop Standardized operational performance and production reports showing volumes, processing rates, service levels, outcomes, and comparison of forecast versus actual, assuring the integrity of the information, for management review, analysis, and action.
Decrease administrative costs through efficient use of technologies and information.
Support Accreditation effort by providing the required compliance reporting.
Support internal and external audits.
Centralize all opportunity/risk issues identified through audits or by the operational areas.
Monitor and report on the status of opportunity and risk issues identified through audits or by the operational areas.
Provide the Marketing area with responses to customer RFP/RFI Inquiries on how our programs would support their members' health needs.
Provide project leadership and support of divisional/corporate projects that will improve, enhance, and ensure our programs provide superior service to our customers, subscribers and providers.
Use new, emerging, and existing technologies to provide systems development and ongoing maintenance support.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics or other related field is required. Four or more years of experience in related field required.
Design, Build, Test, Code and Document applications, letters and reports
Expert development skills in SQL on SQL Server and Oracle. Must be able to develop complex SQL queries, triggers, functions and stored procedures. Must be able to design and create tables.
Must be able to develop MS Access applications. Must be expert Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) developer.
Expert with using Microsoft Excel, including VBA development, formulas, links, pivot tables, etc.
Able to analyze data and identify issues and trends.
Previous experience working in a health insurance environment especially within a wellness and care management organization is preferred.
Wellness and Care Management Delivery Support Services Mission is to provide operational and statistical support to Wellness, Care Management, and Health Promotion and other internal customers and to assist in the effective and timely delivery of integrated health care programs that will enhance customers' experience and improve business results.
Experience in database management.
Knowledge of DTS packages a plus.
Experience in requirements definition working with customers.
Experience addressing data quality validation.
Experience in testing.
Senior Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
