Need Usability/Psych Research Expert to Review Science Mobile Learning Grant, ASAP, due Sunday!!!
Closed - This job posting has been filled.
I am an Educational Psychology/Technology Developer and Researcher. Accordingly, I've done research/know statistics. However, I don't know usability research very well, but I did look up a lot of it online. The instruments used for usability, feasibility, fidelity of implementation and engagement are given a lot of weight in grading the grants for points for awards, so I want someone who's good at checking my instruments and picking good reliable/valid instruments (need to cite the studies that show this) for things that need to be changed.
I'm submitting a grant late Sunday, 2.3, and need someone who has very strong usability/UX research design skills and also psychology/educational research skills, to review the grant I've written and give me suggestions to make the design better. The technology isn't going to change. I've attached what I've written so far, if you want to get an idea of what the study is like.
The part for review is on pages 18-29, esp. the Phase I research design stuff, because I don't think I'll get Phase II, and Phase I grant money is a separate grant. Main emphasis is on Phase I and then secondarily on Phase II writeup. You're not revising the entire grant! You're just doing those 10 pages, the rest of the grant is there if you need context. Some minor parts are missing and in red, all major parts are there.
I can't attach the instructions for the grant, but you can download them here if you want to read them (SBIR, IES grant, Fast Track Phases I and II):
So, I need someone available to work today or tomorrow, or both and get all this reviewed, hopefully with time for me to see your changes and e-mail you back a few times, back and forth. I need all this done by Sunday morning, so need someone who's available NOW.
Please provide me with:
2. Estimate total price, or if not a fixed rate, price per hour
3. Your background for feasibility, engagement, usability, fidelity of implementation research, esp. for technology (mobile), etc. and knowledge of stats in context of research
4. Experience in educational research/science preferred, so tell me if you have that, but its not required.
ASAP!!!! First person that works out, gets the job.
Skills: research, design, mobile-application-development, science
