Draw Simple Sketches for a Research Study
The Stanford HCI group is looking for artists to participate in a study about online creative mentoring and critiquing. We've been designing a prototype online social network to help artists give and receive critiques on artwork. To do this, we're trying to better understand the process of online mentoring and how we can design systems to better support this.
The study will be four weeks long and involve a time commitment of a few hours per week. Participants will be asked to spend some time each week responding to an art prompt and critiquing work by others. At the end of the four weeks, participants that respond to all four art prompts will receive a $25 gift card as a token of thanks.
We're specifically looking for people interested in drawing (just to make sure everyone participating in the study has some knowledge about how to comment on other people's work). The category of drawing is broad -- we mean artwork created using graphite, charcoal, ink, colored pencils, etc.
