We are an Independent Insurance brokerage specializing in Commercial Insurance looking to hire someone who will work with insurance brokers and contractors. Knowledge of insurance terminology is not necessary, but is preferred.
Job duties include answering phone calls, payment reminder calls to our clients as well as follow up calls for non-paying or cancelled insurance policies. This also includes obtaining contractor information that is necessary to providing them with quotes. In addition, this person will maintain and update our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database, and assist with the process of issuing endorsements to insurance policies and processing applications and certificates. Communication with our clients is done via phone (Skype) and email.
Previous experience in Customer Service
Must understand and speak proper English and also have strong written communication skills.
Our ideal candidate must be computer and internet savvy and proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
Knowledge of insurance terminology and familiarity with insurance policies are preferred.
Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize and multi-task and possess excellent time-management skills.
Must be detail-oriented and motivated.
This will be a Part-Time position (15 hours per week) based in the United States with hours between 2pm to 5pm PST. As you grow into the position, more hours may be available up to 20 hours a week.
Training will be provided after-hours (7pm to 9pm PST) to the qualified candidate.
