Catalog Title: Anaisa Franco
The content of the catalog is going to present the artworks made by the artist Anaisa Franco from 2006 until 2013. It will enable the artist to showcase her current body of work and gain recognition, improving her ability to promote and market her art. Additionally, a well-produced catalog becomes a historical record of her artwork that ultimately outlasts me and serves to document a particular stage of my career for anyone researching my art in the future.
* The catalog will encompass 16 Artworks extending over a period of 8 years, all of them developed by Grants and commissions in Medialabs and Artist in Residency Programs internationally. Along with the artworks, the catalog will present detailed information of both the production design process of the pieces, from prototyping until final results, and the engagement of different team of professionals (engineers, programmers, photographers, actors, architects) needed in the development process. For each illustration I will include the title, dimensions, medium, completion date and credits.
This documentation will enable the reader to get a real insight into the complex technological nature of my work.
For the preface, I will invite respected art expert, critic, professor and curator Christiane Paul, who is proof to have a relevant opinion in the digital art field.
The publication will present the content in German and English, ensuring international circulation of the book. Quintessenz Creation in Berlin will be in charge of the layout design print.
According to distribution, a book lunch event will be presented in the galleries representing my work: Adora Calvo Gallery (Spain), Charlot Gallery (Paris), Central Gallery (Sao Paulo), Art Claims Impulse (Berlin). Additionally, the book will be available in such locations for local distribution, becoming an effective representative tool for collectors, art fairs and institutions.
Further copies will be mailed to The Library of Congress, to museums, public and institutional libraries in the area where most people are familiar with my work. The catalog will also be distributed as a Digital Publishing to be seen using Telephones, Tablets and Computers.
