A lyrical approach to dark and twisted love - sketches, vignettes, flash fiction, short short stories (female writers only) (adult content required)
Closed - This job posting has been filled.
I seek a long term relationship with young female creative writers who are interested in exploring, through an explicit yet thoughtful and perhaps lyrical approach, the darker sides of love.
The formats to use are sketches, vignettes, flash fiction and short short stories. The word count should not exceed 1000 words but should ideally hover around the 300-500 word mark (except for the short short story, which needs an 800-1000 word count).
Your language may be as colorful and coarse as you like, and you should of course always call a spade by it's proper name and never beat around the bush unless is serves a specific purpose, but your tone should never be vulgar or disrespectful.
This is a slow project. It is for 5 pieces to be posted at the rate of one piece every two weeks. The payment per piece is fixed at $20 (or less, depending on your bid) including oDesk fees.
Please make sure to visit http://EroticAria.com before you place your bid on this project, to make sure you agree with how we handle things. Please note that the site recently went from Alpha to Beta, we are not public yet but expect to start making ourselves known early this summer.
Erotic Aria is a public site built in such a way that public posts can be shared by anyone on the major social networks. Public posts will be indexed by search engines and can be located through them.
The long term goal of Erotic Aria, in working long-term with individual authors, is to enhance online awareness of their writings through direct promotion of their content. (One way to look at this project is as a publicity stunt for you, the author.)
YOUR EROTIC ARIA PROFILE
You will be required to create your own public profile on Erotic Aria through which you publish your writings. If you are not willing to maintain a public profile on Erotic Aria you should not apply to this project.
On the day a story is published you MUST send me a payment reminder through the oDesk message system. It is not rude to send a payment reminder - quite the contrary, it is very necessary and simply ensures that you get paid on time.
All writers must adhere to certain guidelines.
Please supply one sample of a sketch, vignette, flash fiction or a short short story that you have recently written.
Thank you for reading.
