Content Management Assistant
Closed - This job posting has been filled.
We manage a site that provides users with the ability to easily watch TV shows, movies, live events and more over the Internet.
This requires the daily creation of new pages and/or embedding content on our site based on simple, easy-to-use templates.
We're looking for someone who can log into the back-end of our system (Wordpress Environment) and create new pages based on the instructions given by our Content Manager. No HTML or CSS experience will be required. There are mostly three types of pages you'll be creating:
1. Movie pages - Simply creating a page and embedding a video on the page. We will provide the URL of the movie and you will grab embed code, alter it to fit our pages, then embed it on the page you created.
2. TV Show pages - Creating a page with preexisting layout, researching the show to find out key info, entering the info into custom fields, finding/creating/uploading an image (from google image search)
1. Live Event pages - Simply creating a page and embedding a video on the page. We will provide the URL of the movie and you will grab embed code, alter it to fit our pages, then embed it on the page you created. (the same process as movie pages above).
Requirements (must have these):
Fast Internet Connection
Access to content on Hulu.com, crackle.com, and xfinitytv.comcast.net (plus others)
Skype or some other form of instant message service.
Experience with Wordpress Sites
Web Research Experience
We're looking for someone who can work Mon-Fri (weekends would be nice too) at least 4-6 hours per day (potentially more if you'd like). We'd prefer that you be available to work sometime between 9am and 5pm ET, but if that doesn't work for you we can probably work something out.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding this job.
